Family Direct Revs Up New E-Commerce Site with Warp 9 Supplier to Auto Dealers Around the Nation Uses Warp 9 to Supercharge Sales and Service
January 3, 2007 - Santa Barbara, CA - Warp 9, Inc. (OTCBB: WNYN), the premier provider of robust e-commerce platforms and services, today reports that its new client Family Direct, has launched its overhauled and upgraded e-commerce site, powered by the Warp 9 Internet Commerce System (ICS).
Family Direct came to Warp 9 seeking to revamp their existing e-commerce site to generate increased sales. This new, more sophisticated online sales channel has been given a fully integrated order processing system that links web orders with backend fulfillment and inventory management systems. A newly designed website interface provides a better shopping experience for the customers, and a higher grade of information management. These increased efficiencies and information flow, made possible by the flexibility of the Warp 9 e-commerce platform, will lead to more profitable transactions.
The site features a new and contemporary look and feel. Joel Marica, Family Direct's Manager of IS commented on the new appearance saying, "It has been especially gratifying to work with the very responsive and creative Warp 9 design team. The navigation throughout the site is enhanced by this new layout. The much improved catalog quick shop functionality is also very important to us as a business to business (B2B) cataloger. We anticipate that the new look and features will generate increased sales orders by allowing for more rapid and accurate shopping and fewer abandoned shopping carts. We are looking forward to launching another project with Warp 9 in the coming months."
Warp 9 also designed and implemented custom product templates for specialized products and will provide Family Direct with e-mail marketing capabilities with their Warp 9 E-mail Marketing System (EMS) product which has been integrated into the new website.
Harinder Dhillon, Warp 9's CEO said, "We are very excited about working with Family Direct in the coming years. They are a rapidly growing company in the automotive segment and we expect to help them generate greater profits and better service for their customers."
Warp 9 ICS powers some of the most successful e-commerce websites such as magellans.com, wolfermans.com, windandweather.com, carabella.com, ablambdin.com and sportssection.com.
